Choose or take a photograph of the subject you would like in your portrait and email it to me. Ideally the image should be clear and in focus. It is a good idea to send a couple of images. I normally work on A3 paper (42 x 29.7cm or 12" x 16"). The size of the completed drawing is approximately between 20 and 25cm square. The completed portrait is a black and white pencil drawing.
The cost of the portrait is £250 per subject plus p&p. Unfortunately, I am unable to apply discounts for more than one subject as each subject requires the same time and attention to detail.
I request a £50 non-refundable deposit at the point of commissioning a portrait, which can be paid via PayPal or BACS. The remaining balance must be paid via PayPal or BACS prior to collection or delivery.
I require at least 4 weeks notice (more, if there is more than one subject) from paying the deposit to completing the portrait. We agree a delivery date at the time of booking. If I am exceptionally busy and will need longer than this I will inform you before you pay the deposit.
Once your portrait is finished I will email you a scan of the portrait.
Pencil portraits are sprayed with fixative spray.
Portraits are not framed.
I can deliver completed portraits locally in Tiverton free of charge. I can also deliver within a 25 mile radius of Tiverton for the cost of petrol. You can also arrange to collect in person if you would prefer. If you require the portrait to be sent, P&P services and costs are available on request and it is advised that you use a service that offers insurance.
